The PCU1 SP Mk3 Primary Current Injection Test System is a medium powered instrument that can deliver output currents of up to 5000A 11 5kVA for 40 seconds It consists of a control unit and a loading unit NLU200 NLU2000 or NLU5000 that delivers the high current output
This system is perfect for primary current injection stability testing and circuit breaker testing and also offers direct reading CT ratio and polarity tests It comes with a 100A secondary injection output and 3 loading units that provide maximum output currents of 2000A or 5000A Each loading unit except NLU200 has three output taps to accommodate a wide range of load impedances
The control unit has an 11 5kVA rating and can handle 2 second overload capabilities of up to 23kVA using pulse mode All metering functions are digital and accurate with a memory feature that retains the current reading even when the output trips or is switched off The system uses a reliable solid state device to control the current which automatically shuts off when the device under test experiences a trip event
